Jeep Offroad e-Bike Available for Order

The first Jeep e-Bike powered by QuietKat is a capable off-road electric mountain bike. he introduction of the 2020 Jeep e-bike was through an advert shown at the Super Bowl last month and the bike is now available on pre order.

The bike offers 40 miles on a single charge of the 750 Watt electric motor. The 4.8" fat tires will handle the most extreme terrain, coupled with the Fire-Link™ suspension for capable traction. For more information see the IDTechEx report on Electric Two-wheelers 2019-2029.

According to QuietKat, the Jeep E-Bike is a full suspension electric mountain bike that combines the versatility of a fat-tire, full-suspension bicycle with the power and performance of a 750W electric motor, and is the most capable electric bike ever made, with 160nm of torque from the motor via pedal assist or a thumb throttle. The Fire-Link suspension system is a four-bar linkage, providing traction and capability on any terrain The Jeep Edition is available with a 750 Watt motor and is shipped as a Class 2 Electric Bicycle (the bike comes equipped with a thumb throttle to activate the motor without needing to pedal. If regulations require Class 1 compliance the motor can be easily disconnected and removed therefore the only way to power the motor is via the pedal assist, rendering the bike Class 1 compliant. This also means the bike has a 20MPH speed limit to comply with Class 1 and Class 2 bikes according to US Federal Law.).

Built on a 26″x4.8″ Fat-Tire platform, the Jeep E-Bike is designed for a wide variety of technical, off-road terrain including soft sand and snow, as well as hardpack trails and rocks. The Jeep E-Bike will come with 150mm of suspension travel from the ultra-stiff inverted fork, and 120mm of rear-wheel suspension traction and control in the most rugged terrain. A wide-range 10 speed drivetrain provides enough gears to climb steep mountains and cruise at a comfortable pace while 4 Piston Hydraulic Disc brakes confidently stop the bike when needed.
