The speaker programme is carefully crafted by IDTechEx analysts. The two-day combined conference programme will consist of over 200 speakers, with 50 speakers specifically covering Wearable Technology:

• The end user view: end users from a variety of sectors such as health & fitness, sportswear, textiles and consumer electronic industries. The end users will outline their requirements and wish-list, while also discussing their latest progress. IDTechEx analysts will also provide a detailed overview of the market.


• Enabling technologies: suppliers, academics and other technologists will focus on critical enabling technologies that will shape the future of wearable technologies. Examples include low-power electronics, wireless power transfer, thin and flexible energy storage, energy harvesting, smart textiles, and flexible and/or stretchable electronics.
  
  Crucially, Wearable Technology Europe will be co-located alongside a series of highly-relevant and synergic tradeshows and conferences on Printed Electronics, Energy Harvesting and Storage, and the Internet of Things. The speakers, attendees and exhibitors will all have access to all co-located events.
  
  Each of these events is a leading business-orientated event in its own right, attracting key players across the value chain from investors and end users to component and material suppliers. These well-established events attract in excess of 2,000 attendees.

• Gadget makers: leading wearable technology and smart textile gadget makers will present their work. This part of the programme will showcase the latest exciting product development work in the broadly-defined field of wearable technologies.

Tradeshow

The co-located tradeshow will feature Wearable Technology, The Internet of Things, Energy Harvesting and Printed Electronics exhibitors. The exhibition floor will bring together more than 200 exhibiting companies, creating a dynamic market place geared towards enabling technologies that will shape the future of wearable devices.
