also known as Supercapacitor, or Electrochemical Capacitor, or Electric Double Layer Capacitor (EDLC). Made from carbon aerogel, carbon nanotubes, or highly porous electrode materials. Extremely high capacity. Can be used in some applications instead of rechargeable batteries.
