The market for fluoropolymers for electronic and electrical applications will double. Such applications will take an increasing share of the fluoropolymer market overall. This is something of great interest to both device designers and the 50 leading fluoropolymer suppliers. The reasons include new ways of making them into previously-impossible finely-detailed structures and getting even thin films into cracks and round corners. There are new compounds and composites. They are needed for next generation devices such as 5G, 6G, terahertz electronics, lithium-metal batteries, triboelectric sensors and power generation, advanced fuel cells and maybe emerging dielectric elastomer generators. Fluoroelastomers look good now. Consider fluoropolymers in new RF sputtering, 3D printing, glass and as ceramic fiber composites, tripolymers. In market potential, learn why PVDF now rivals PTFE in this sector, how electrical engineering applications are as important as ones in electronics but the third and fourth most popular fluoropolymer families emerging here are not the same between electronic and electric and why.

This webinar shares some of the research for the new IDTechEx report, "Fluoropolymer Markets in Electrics, Electronics 2021-2041".
