Professor Dr Gesa Husi of the Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics Department, Centre of Arts, Humanities and Sciences of the University of Debrecen in Hungary tells us he has patents for sale in the control of alternating current drives using frequency converters. Benefits of his approach are:
- Maximum torque even at high revolution
- Torque is controllable in the whole revolution range
- Higher speed does not entail shorter range
- The battery level does not affect the speed of the vehicle
- When the battery gets low, the vehicle is able to proceed with a software adjustment
- The drive can be charged while braking
The priority patent was filed in 2012. Ring +36 30 550 8627. Email Husigeza@eng.unideb.hu. Web http://detti.unideb.hu.
